All Life forms on Earth are being Infected by "VECTORS"
What are "Vectors"?? They are any biting insect that can easily transmit diseases from a bite. With Climate Change, we are seeing many more changes in the environment that are making it easier for Vectors such as Ticks, Dog/Cat Fleas, Horse Flies, Mosquitoes, Bed Bugs, Sand Fleas, Spiders, any biting insect is most likely carrying some kind of bacterial/viral infection. We are under attack now, much like being in a biological war zone.
**NOTE: In early 2019 I shifted "STW"s business operation from the past 35 years as a Wildlife/Environmental education organization into focusing on the risks all life face, there was no Global COVID-19 Pandemic. My research work for the past 10 years focused mainly on "Vector Born Diseases", the spread of virus' & bacteria from insects to humans. COVID-19, a "Zoonosis" infection, is passed from animals to human then human to human. This is equally as important and as deadly as insect transmission. This site will be updated to include more information on "Zoonosis Pandemics".
Vector-borne diseases are human illnesses caused by parasites, viruses and bacteria that are transmitted by mosquitoes, sandflies, triatomine bugs, blackflies, ticks, tsetse flies, mites, snails and lice. Every year there are more than 700 000 deaths from diseases such as malaria, dengue, schistosomiasis, human African trypanosomiasis, leishmaniasis, Chagas disease, yellow fever, Japanese encephalitis and onchocerciasis, globally.

The term “vector-borne” refers to the way diseases are passed on from one person to another. Instead of through the air or directly by human contact, these pathogens need to hitch a ride for transmission. Vectors are any organisms that carry disease-causing pathogens from host to host.
Vector-borne diseases are responsible for 17% of all infectious diseases; they cause a staggering one billion deaths each year. <read more> |
Tick-borne infections are zoonotic—meaning they are passed from animals to humans. “Vectors” like ticks, mosquitoes and fleas transmit the diseases from animals like mice, rats, and squirrels to humans when they bite. Ticks can carry many bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoans all at the same time and transmit them in a single bite. The most common tick-borne diseases in the United States include Lyme disease, babesiosis, anaplasmosis, ehrlichiosis, .....
